Six large format beers, new at City Swiggers: first, the domestics) Widmer Old Embalmer '12 (barleywine with Bravo hops), Sam Adams Stony Brook Red, Allagash 2012 Confluence (with Brettanomyces, a funky yeast), Widmer SXNW, Limited Ed., #7 (with pecans, spice, cocoa & green chilis), Blue Point Oatmeal Stout, and (finally) De Proefbrouwerij Flanders Fred, a sour: Hair of Dog in collaboration with De Proef Brouwerij + Lochristi of Belgium (rated 98 overall on ratebeer.com).
